BEIJING, Feb.4 -- A student has won a ten-year legal battle to return
to lectures after he was banned from university because of his smelly feet.
Teunis Tenbrook was reportedly thrown out of the Erasmus University in
Rotterdam after staff and students complained that they could not concentrate
because of the pungent odour.
A court has now ruled that smelly feet is no excuse to ban a student from a
university, according to Ananova.
The judge said: "Our considered opinion is that the professors and other
students will just have to hold their noses and bear it."
Tenbrook had earlier told the court that his attempts to continue with his
philosophy studies were stalled when he was also banned from the library.
