Pet lover needs advice to raise golden turtle

A Changsha man is soliciting advice through the media about how to raise a golden-colored soft-shelled turtle.

BEIJING, Feb. 24 -- A Changsha man is soliciting advice through the media about how to raise a golden-colored soft-shelled turtle.

The man, surnamed Li, purchased the turtle from a local bazaar last month and it's now 43 cm long and 33 cm wide. It weighs 5.25 kg.

The turtle is from a local reservoir and some experts said it's about 80 years old and has a lifespan of about 800 years.
