BEIJING, Sept. 1 -- Amateur photographer Yao Guohua from Chongqing municipality is having difficulties convincing his 9-year-old daughter that he is not a pervert.
When Yao's daughter saw photos of nude women on Yao's computer by chance two weeks ago, she had stern words with him for what she assumed was shameful behavior.
"I tried my best to explain myself to her, but she is unconvinced. How can I make a girl her age to understand that nude images are not necessarily pornographic?" Yao asked, in despair.
Zhou Zuguo, a local psychologist said that the child's misinterpretation of the photos is attributable to the average home environment and attitude of parents and other adults that create a negative impression of nudity.
