Crocodile discovered in London bath

BEIJING, Dec.27 -- A crocodile has been

discovered living in a bath in London.

Pest control officer Steve North made a call to a

Peckham flat after being told that there was a problem in the bathroom.

When he entered, he found the creature lying in the

tub. "What I didn't expect was to be eyeballed by a two-foot-long crocodile,

happily lounging in the bath," he said.

The official called a team of animal control experts

to take away the reptile, which the flat's occupant claimed he was looking after

for a friend.
