Mother fined for calling son too much

BEIJING, April 10 (Xin***) -- An Austrian court fined a 73-year-old woman 360 euros (324 pounds) for stalking her son by phoning him 49 times a day over a two-and-a-half year period.

The court in the southern Austrian town of Klagenfurt convicted and sentenced the woman after the case was brought by the son, Austrian media reported Thursday.

"I just wanted to talk to him," the woman told the court, according to Austrian news*** Kleine Zeitung. "I can't talk to my son, nor my daughter. I've never seen my grandchild -- who is already 15-years-old," she said.
