BEIJING, May 20 -- A 4-year-old tiger and a lion
were doing well after workers at the Badaling Wildlife Park encouraged them to
live together on Monday.
Over the years, they took walks
and often kissed, Zookeepers said, and they moved to the zoo last week.
Zookeepers hope they would mate sometime this year
and produce the first hybrid.
